This rifle is in excellent original condition for its age. AR 43 – 1943 code. There are multiple stamps that are pictured and all of the number match. We cannot find any serial numbers on the stock, mount or scope. The ZF41 1.5x scope had a German post crosshair but it has fallen to the bottom of the optic. The bore is spotless. Selling a like-new Glock 42 .380 with 5 magazines and 3 holsters. The G42 is the single-stack .380 Glock. This pistol has had the magazine release button swapped for left-handed use (it's an easy swap back to right-handed, but leaving as left-handed in case a left-handed person wants to make this purchase.)
I am throwing in 5 (yes FIVE) magazines: 1 is a Hyve +2 extended mag, 2 are Strike EMP +2's, 1 has a Pierce grip extension, and 1 is the standard flush magazine.
I am also throwing in 3 free holters: 2 are left handed only, and 1 is swappable to right-handed use.
For an addtional $40.00, I will throw in several boxes of .380 ammo.
I am selling this G42 because, if you are familiar with .380's and with this model, you may have read it is picky with ammo. I have found that it likes Hornady Critical Duty. I have decided that I prefer 9mm and have switched to a Glock 43.

Walther made, Manurhin stamped P1 pistol with one magazine, chambered in 9x19mm. Great shooting pistol in excellent condition, all West German (Berlin) Police markings present. Fantastic pistol and I'm sorry to see it go but my car A/C gave out so if it's down to me baking in the heat and the pistol, had to make a choice! Will drive distances to meet within reason. History behind this pistol:
After the Second World War, the Potsdam Agreement was signed which contained the conditions of demilitarisation of Germany, one of these stipulations being that Germans could not manufacture firearms, and that their economy would be directed towards agriculture and light industry. However, the story of the Walther P38 doesn't end there. The Walther plants that were making the P38s were captured and held onto by the French, who kept producing and improving the pistol alongside the original Walther engineers, not to mention producing the PP and the other famed Walther pistols under the name "Manurhin". The only improvement really made to the P38 was replacing the steel frame with an aluminum one, and replacing the wooden grips with hard black plastic, dramatically reducing weight, and thus it became the P1 (or P01). Later on, and early into the Cold War, the West German Police (namely West Berlin) were eager to rearm, as they were the prime targets of possible Communist attack/terrorism, and their small arms were very limited. They found a solution by contracting Manurhin to take unfinished P1s to their factories to be roll-marked, heat-treated, phosphated, tested and inspected, and finally proofed, so that these excellent Walther pistols had enough French work put into them to be considered "French". They were marked "Pistolet P1" on the slide, had a starburst on the trigger guard, and other police markings to identify them for West German police use, effectively circumventing the restrictions.
